Grab a 4 Oz. tin of our home made board butter! A necessity for care of any raw wooden product. Made with love and care in our home kitchen. Featuring locally sourced, Hudson valley's own "3 Hives honey" food grade bee's wax and food grade mineral oil. It's what the vast majority of our products are finished with. Bees wax has been used for thousands of years as a wood sealer and food safe finish. Mineral oil makes it softer and easier to apply.

     With that being said, we make food in our kitchen almost every day, and haven't died yet, although there was that one incident with questionable tacos... I always take the utmost care in using food safe products and dedicated and sterilized kitchen utensils when making our Board Butter. I personally use this product on my own cutting boards, my family's cutting boards, and my friends cutting boards. I will not ever offer something that I wouldn't use myself or let my family use. If any of this makes you uncomfortable, you can purchase whatever brand of food safe finish you would like. As long as your using something to care for your wood products, it really is fine with us!
